SUMMER CAMPS
Seven Rivers offers exceptional outdoor enrichment to the communities in the greater Seacoast area of NH. We believe strongly in the value of nature based education and developing emotional intelligence. We strive to nurture empathy and perseverance, to kindle curiosity and creativity. Our youth programs prioritize nurturing connection to land and wildlife while kindling a sense of community. We value the growth and resilience that occurs when children are given the freedom to explore, create, engage and problem solve with each other and individually.
At Seven Rivers, we craft our programs with care, selecting attentive and skilled instructors. It is our priority to expose our participants to a wide array of practical application skills while encouraging collaboration.
ISLAND ADVENTURE CAMPS
Explore the numerous islands of the Great Bay Estuary! This dynamic camp offers both kayak and SUP paddle techniques, self rescue skills, general water safety, chart reading, navigation and compass skills. Participants will enjoy island hopping, natural history, wildlife, swimming, team building games and practical application skills.

BOSTON HARBOR EXPEDITION
On this multi day overnight sea kayaking excursion, participants will paddle to and explore the diverse islands off the coast of Massachusetts where they will camp remotely, cook their meals over the fire, develop leadership tools and wilderness skills such as T-rescues, chart reading, navigation and other relevant skills for safely enjoying the backcountry.

FARM CAMP
Seven Rivers is offering this camp in collaboration with
Brandmoore Farm in Rollinsford, NH. This scenic working farm is situated along the Salmon Falls river which provides the unique opportunity for experiencing seasonal farm activities and
projects for part of the day, then getting on the river to
paddle and explore the diverse tidal waterway!

INTO THE WILD
In this multi day, overnight camp participants will experience a fully immersive backcountry program. Paddling on the pristine
30 Mile River Watershed in Fayette, Maine to an island campsite where we will spend the next few days exploring the watershed, cooking over the fire together and doing team building activities.

RIVERS TO THE SEA
In collaboration with the Gundalow Company, Seven Rivers is offering this unique opportunity to explore tidal water on kayaks and the Historic Gundalow. Learn kayaking technique, skill and safety for part of the day and then jump on the Gundalow and learn the ropes of sailing!

WILDERNESS ADVENTURE CAMPS
A week of natural history, basic wilderness skills necessary for exploring the backcountry, an introduction to paddling and the significance of building community and stewardship. In this multi-age setting we also dig into aspects of permaculture gardening and backcountry cooking. If you are looking for a little bit of everything, this is the camp!

ESTUARY EXPEDITION
A NEW Seven Rivers offering this season! Geared towards students who have experience kayaking and who are looking for to level up. Explore the far reaches of the Great Bay Estuary in this exciting opportunity to paddle a unique body of water. This program will include island hopping, coastal navigation, water safety & rescue and map reading in addition to an immersive natural history experience of the Estuary.

MEDIEVAL KNIGHTS CAMP
This local favorite is a great way to become immersed in a rich historical time period. Using handmade wooden swords, participants will experience the technique, skill and impulse control needed to safely engage in sword play. Cooking over the fire, archery and other historically relevant activities will be integrated into this epic week!

ROCKS & RIVERS
In collaboration with SALT PUMP, Seven Rivers is offering a NEW program this season. Participants will learn the basics of climbing and paddling in this unique offering. Days will be a mix of different climbing experiences and paddle boarding on tidal rivers.

WILDFLOWERS
In this program designed for young women, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the changes their bodies will experience as they move through puberty and how to nourish and care for themselves during this season of their lives. We will explore various crafts, forage & explore the tidal waters of Crommet Creek.
